Here I will explain the pricing breakdown in better detail for those wishing a clearer explination of the pricing and how it is reached, Despite what many may be charging currently. Which is an absurd amount in Gorean terms of comprehension of coin. I have chosen to price my ships according to market demand and time and cost incurred by myself to produce a single vessel. To be honest if you purchase a ship anywhere else you are getting raped and robbed. Not exactly what I would consider an honorable business venture or practice.

Now to start with I will give a detailed of what I offer as standard armaments for all class size tarn ships, the larger the ship the more room one has to place a crossbow or large balista. So naturally a Large will have the most weapons for the price. Extras can be added for an additional cost and loss of deck space. Rounds are the most common thassa based Merchant vessels, they work well on the Vosk as well. Most merchants tend to use barges for River transport, And some barges offered are thassa safe. Galleys are the rams of the Vosk River.

They are produced in a smaller scale than say an actual Tarn ship would be. As most know while the Vosk is wide it isn't very deep in places other spots a ram would find little trouble traversing the usually swift moving current of the Vosk.

Now all ships start off with the same basic needs and labor. Materials are either harvested or shipped in after being ordered and those incurr cost. The market average currently is about 200 dgt for a single small vessel. Then you have labor cost which for a quality yard can be somewhat hefty, For many reasons, current pay scale for competent craftsman. Exotic materials add cost as most exotic woods are indigenious to the region the are most abundant and have the climate to produce useable quality woods, again an added cost in the construction of a single ship. So if exotic woods are not a requirement you should be saving coin by having it constructed with the most common woods that being Tem,Tur and Kalana. And each has a specific region where it is best grown and harvested. I do offer in addition to standard construction, a shallow draft design for the above mentioned ships. A shallow draft displaces more water at the ships hull and water line giving it more lift as it sails. It is a proven design. One I have been perfecting over the last several vars now. So I am able to offer more designs cost is a little more but the benefits of the added cost are well worth the expense for a faster more maneuverable ship. I offer a full service expereince, complete with a demonstration of the different designs in operation. And will let you decide which is the far better design for yourself.
